Trying to update to latest code and getting this error message – “An error occurred while updating Event Espresso: Update package not available.”
That message is really not helpful to us users – please help me unscramble. I did check to see that my license key was entered correctly. I do have connectivity and was able to update other plugins.

Hi there,
I have reset your license key.
Please go to Event Espresso -> General Settings.
Remove the license key from there and save the settings.
Now go your account page, copy the license key that does not end in _FREE and add that to the license key field on your site.
Save the settings once more.
Does the update then work?
Which version number of Event Espresso are you using currently?
An error occurred while updating Event Espresso: Update package not available.
Just means that’s WordPress could not download the update. The error is thrown by the WordPress updater, not Event Espresso, so we can not add additional details there.

Doing that allowed the update to proceed. Problem fixed, whatever it was. Thanks!
