Attempting to create my first event at http://mh.asse.org/?page_id=16

After selecting Qty, entering personal information and clicking on Proceed to Payments Options, receive this error message —

An error has occurred:
First Name is a required value.
EE_SPCO_Reg_Step_Attendee_Information – _verify_critical_attendee_details_are_set_and_validate_email – 873

Simply using Invoice as the payment method for this test. Have also tried Check and Paypal individually as payment option.

Running version 4.6.24.p on WP 4.1

Hi there,

I checked your site and I can see why the error is occurring. There’s a letter “t” appended to the URL of the scripts that handle the registration form validation. Here’s a screenshot that shows the mismatch:

Have you changed the .htaccess file for this site? There may be a redirect rule that’s affecting this. I can see that the wp-content directory has been renamed, which may be related.

I can imagine this sort of thing happening with the iThemes Security plugin, or also known as the Better WP security plugin. Is that plugin installed? If so, it’s likely a misconfiguration in the security plugin that’s causing the breakage.

Thanks Josh. It was a conflict with the iThemes Secutiry plugin. Error has been resolved.
