Attendees started reporting this error over the weekend. I went to test it this morning and just had it happen to me.
It says : “An error has occurred: You have attempted to purchase 2 tickets. The registration limit for this event is 1 ticket per registration, therefore the number of tickets you may purchase at a time cannot exceed 1”
It seems to pick a random number. I seen it say 3 tickets, 6 tickets etc. Attaching screenshot.
We have same problem, also since this weekend.
It seems that problem is that if you have an event with more than 1 ticket, it will count the position of ticket as amount of tickets.
If I have an event with 2 tickets (and order is limited to 1 ticket per order), this error is shown on second ticket and it says “You have attempted to purchase 2 tickets.” And if I have an event with 3 tickets (and order is limited to 1 ticket per order), this error is shown on second ticket with “You have attempted to purchase 2 tickets.” and on third ticket with “You have attempted to purchase 3 tickets.”
I’m sorry for the trouble, we’ve been investigating this and have pushed an update live (v4.10.18.p) which should fix this.
If you don’t see the update on your site go to Event Espresso -> General Settings and just hit save to force a version check, the update should then display in Dashboard -> Plugins.
