I had used EE3 Business 18 months ago. My site was hacked and I had to start over from scratch. When I did, I thought I would use EE4 because I didn’t want to have to switch when EE3 went away. I made that decision way to soon and EE4 simply did not work for me.
I had asked the EE Staff what the method was for migrating back. They gave me the bad news that there is no process flow for migrating from EE3 to EE4. So I hesitated. I finally decided to bite the bullet and start 2015 with the ticketing system I need.
So I switched back to EE3 business yesterday. I have installed my plugins. When I started configuring the settings I got a very pleasant surprise!
My settings are still there! Obviously, my developer has my new site info in the same folders… or something. But I definitely am super stoked that I’m practically ready to go live. THIS WAS PAINLESS FOR ME!
EE as a whole is a company that rolls with the punches, along with their customers. They have supported my needs every time I ask… and quickly.
I know this is a support forum and not the usual place to submit a thank you, but I wanted to take this moment and surprise you with an unorthodox way of being thankful. Your level of service is certainly unorthodox in this current environment.
