So we have events running which use a ‘standard’ checkout page.
This page does not have address, becuase for GDPR-purposes we don’t need it.
We also want to sell merchandise, so have set up a ‘event’ for each of these, but when the checkout we have an issue, as we don’t know their address to post it to!
I was hoping to be able to use an alternative checkout page for merchandise to events, but am I right in thinking this isn’t possible?
Althernatively, it would be great if there was a merchandise add-on! 🙂
You can require address fields on the registration form for just those “events”. You go into edit the event that’s selling merchandise, scroll down to the Questions for Primary Registrant metabox, then check the box next to “Address Information”. Then click the Update button.
