This might be kind of a weird one, so bare with me.
I’ve got a site built with custom membership functionality. There are hundreds of users, and some of those users may be from the same organizations. The site also offers paid events through Event Espresso. Typically, an organizations manager will need to go in and buy tickets for everyone they want to attend an event. They’re running in to an issue where if one of the attendees has an account created, they can’t purchase a ticket for that attendee because they’re not signed in.
So my question is: Is there a way to disable the validation that checks if an attendees email address is associated to a user?
There is, and it involves added a tiny code snippet to your site. Along with that, you’ll likely want to disable the User sync option in Event Espresso > Registration Forms > WP User Integration.
Thanks much, that worked perfectly 🙂 I’m saving this one for later use for sure.
