Hello,

I tried emailing support regarding my issue, but I didn’t get any response yet.

Apparently something with EE is causing the WP-Cron schedule to be filled up with tasks that begin with “AHEE__EE_Cron_Tasks_” and my site is struggling to run background tasks via its built in cron because of this.

I attached my debug log on the email, please let me know if there’s any fix. Thank you.

Hi there,

I just checked our emails and it looks like Josh replied to you on the 17th April

Did you not receive that email?

i’ll post the steps he replied with here:

Hi there,

It looks like the cron tasks aren’t firing as expected. I can recommend the following steps:

1) Install this plugin and use it to delete all expired transients:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/transients-manager/
2) Update Event Espresso and all other plugins to their respective current versions
3) Install the WP Crontrol plugin, then check the Tools > Cron Events page. If there are any cron tasks listed there that do not belong, delete them. (for example if there are any cron tasks that belong to plugins that are no longer installed)
4) If there are any error messages on the Tools > Cron Events page, follow the advise given there to ensure cron tasks trigger when expected.

Best,
