Hello,

After we made refunds the total amount paid not reflecting the correct data on the confirmation email sent by the system. It is showing the original amount of the ticket.
There is refund details on the confirmation email as shown below;

Refund Details:
Transaction ID: 54333
Total Cost: $2,250.00 (USD)
Refund Amount: -$100.00 (USD)

At the and this customer is paying $2,050.00 (there was another $100 refund before this one), but the total cost is showing the original ticket price which is $2,250.00 and it is causing confusion.

Is there a way to solve this?

Thank you

Hi,

Adding a refund does not change the original ticket price. If there’s another ticket that calculates to the total owing you want that transaction to have, you can use the attendee mover add-on to transfer the registration(s) to the other ticket(s).

Hi,

I do not want to change the original ticket price, but I want to show the customer what he/she is paying at the end after the refund in the Refund Issued email.
Is there any short code I can add to the email to show the amount after refund.

Thank you

Hi,

Some email message contexts will have these shortcodes:
[RECIPIENT_TOTAL_AMOUNT_PAID]
and/or
[TOTAL_AMOUNT_PAID]
