I see several threads from 2012 about having a need to indicate that a person has “cancelled” from an event, but still retain a record.  The responses indicated this would be added to a future upgrade.  Any status on where this stand?

Hi there,

It is still an open ticket that needs to be resolved. I’ll make a note that you’ve inquired about this issue in the ticket. This will help with prioritizing the tickets that need to be worked on.

Thanks Josh… Having read through the prior posts, it definitely seems that having the ability to flag/identify that a registrant has “cancelled” is something that almost all of your users must have a need for.  Our group is relatively small compared to what many of your customers must be, and it is an issue even for us.

We would definitely like to keep a person in the log, but reflect that they have had to cancel.  This gives us visibility to their original registration, that would be lost if we “deleted” their record, and helps us know if we need to issue a refund, or “rain check”.

Hope to see this feature added soon.  Thanks again

Hi Ephraim,

I hope to see something get added on this one too. At the very least, I’ll see if there’s a hook or a filter we can add to make it so the default behavior can be altered.
