Then if he clicks on button to complete Registration information then, he see following. Why an outrageous Total and option to complete Registration information? There’s a security feature that checks for a valid price type for the events in the cart. Since they’re trying to add an event that is closed for registration, the system isn’t getting a valid price type.
We’re testing out some refinements to the cart feature for Event Espresso 3.1.35 where it will display an error message stating that the event is no longer open for registration and can’t be added to the cart. In the meantime you can avoid this by removing any add to cart links that point to events that are no longer open for registration.
