What are the current options for integrating affiliate tracking into EE?

AffiliateWP is working on an integration with Event Espresso 4 which should be finished soon:

Oh, thanks. No other working options right now? How about Affiliate Royale; I thought there was some way to get that working. Doesn’t work well?

Hi Peter, I’m not aware of any other options that are in the works at this time.
I have not used Affiliate Royale so I cannot confirm if that will work.

So what does EE tell people when they say they want to set up affiliate tracking? What you are telling me right now is that EE is not aware of any way to track affiliates through their system!
This seems very odd, it’s such a basic feature for this kind of business.

Peter, affiliate tracking is not currently available. Sorry that isn’t the answer that you want to hear but we don’t want to mislead anyone and say that something is available right now when it isn’t.
We’ll be recommending members go with AffiliateWP once that integration is finished.
