Hi there, I have read the documentation about implementing affiliate tracking with Infusionsoft. I currently don’t use Infusionsoft but do have a requirement to track affiliate sales from EE4. The affiliate tracking software I have will work with both Paypal and Stripe. It basically works with Pay Pal for instance by 1) Creating a Buy Now button on Paypal and 2) adding in Advanced Variables. 3) Pasting button on site. Is there a way for me to easily prepend the URL EE4 uses to direct a registrant to Pay Pal or Stripe payment methods. It seems to me this would simply be an extra input box on the payment method settings for adding advanced variable for affiliate tracking. I am willing to have this developed for me as well if it’s not so simple. Thanks for your help and/or suggestions. |
Hi Jos, You could check with one of our Event Espresso professionals about helping you set this up: https://eventespresso.com/developers/event-espresso-pros/ Also, a member of the team at AffiliateWP (https://affiliatewp.com) has contacted us regarding adding support for Event Espresso 4 so that should be available in the future. — |

Ok thanks! Lorenzo, I managed to have the Folks at Affiliate Royal create this small plugin to integrate their WP affiliate tracking with EE4. https://gist.github.com/cartpauj/2cbbd90229f38ccdf9d2 It’s based off this code pasted on GIT from a forum post https://github.com/ds-festival/event_espresso_4_custom/blob/master/espresso_custom.php If you would have quick look to see what you think. I haven’t tested it yet. I will be doing so shortly. If you see anything our of sorts EE wise let me know. That would be great! Thanks. Joseph |
I took a quick look at the code and I don’t see anything out of sorts with Event Espresso. Hope it works well for you! |

Hi Josh, Thanks for your reply, I appreciate you taking a look at it. I still have to test it with Pay pal but it definitely didn’t work for processing an admin ticket. I’ll post back if it worked for pay pal. Regards, Joseph |
Okay sure, if you need support for the affiliate add-on, please contact the developer. |
