Advanced Settings for Event Name and Ticket dont work when Wishlist Member Activ

When the Wishlist Member plugin is active the Advanced Setting Button (gear icon) for both the Event Name and the Tickets will not work. Plus when I select to add another ticket it looks like something is happening the page refreshes, but no new ticket. Finally when I click the add a custom email on registration the following error shows up on the page “Sorry, but we can’t create new templates because we’re missing the messenger or message type Messages_Admin_Page – _add_message_template – 1242”. All works fine if a disable the Wishlist Member plug-in unfortunately WLM is the foundation of the site, so I cant keep it turned off.

Hi John,

May I ask does the site have the current version of Wishlist? I actually have an older version of Wishlist installed on a dev site (3.0.6309) and no conflicts with that version. I do not have a newer version to compare though.

Are you able to check the browser’s console for errors? There’s likely a JavaScript error from the Wishlist plugin that’s contributing to or even causing other scripts on the page to break.

The error from the screenshot might be related.

One thing you could try is click the Screen Options tab located on the upper right corner of the page. If the options panel opens, you’ll see a checkbox and label for each box on the page. If you see one for Wishlist or a checkbox with no label, then uncheck it and reload the page.

I am unable to open the screen options dropdown from the Add New or When Editing an existing event.

You might be able to open screen options if you temporarily deactivate the Wishlist plugin.

Also, you might consider rolling back to a prior version of the Wishlist plugin, you didn’t have these issues earlier correct?
