We have a number of events bookable online, and have now added a category of ‘Merchandise’. We’d like admin email notification of all orders placed for merchandise, but not for each event ticket sold.
I can see we can create custom email templates, but can’t see how you can change the trigger for these … any ideas if this is possible?
Ok, so, what you can do is set default message templates not to send an event admin notification, then create a custom template for the Registration Approved message template (and possibly others depending on your specific needs) that does send the event admin notification and set that custom message template on all ‘Merchandise’ events when you create them.
However, if you are combining registrations using the Multi Event Registration add-on EE uses the default message templates, so you wont receive notifications for those registrations.
