Admin booking summary details email

Hi All,

Looking for where the documentation is on using the messaging system. I’d like to adjust the booking notification email for event admins (only) to have details of ALL registrants on it. At the moment we’re only getting payment/booking info and the main bookers email.

Did try doing it, but couldn’t replicate. I thought this was default functionality, but now can’t figure it out (maybe I turned something off by accident?)

Hello,

By default, the registration approved email that is sent to the event admin (event organizer) includes information from all guests where a name and email is collected.

This is because it uses the Attendee List shortcode:

Were any changes made to that specific message template?

Event Espresso –> Messages –> Registration Approved –> Event Admin

yes, I rebranded the customer facing one… so probably I should reset to defaults and see if that fixes?

It depends what has been changed but if you don’t mind redoing your customization’s then I would reset and confirm it works then.

Note that resetting templates resets ALL contexts for that specific message template, so if you edit the Registrant context and click reset on the Event Admin context it will reset both to default.

This is odd, I can’t find Registration Approved in the messages list. I can find payment received

Did you mean this one? Otherwise I appear to have lost one somewhere. Its not in the inactive messengers list. Is there somewhere else I could have accidentally turned it off?

OK for some reason for me the payment confirmed email didn’t have the EVENT List for the event admin view, even though the primary registrant email did. even if I reset to defaults. I’ve copied it over.

I’ve had some problems with performing updates on this webspace, I’m thinking that might be the case here…

hmmm, I still can’t get an attendee list though – thats blank across the board for this email – does anyone have the code which could be put in that window to list out the attendees who’ve been registered?

Hello,

The registration approved message type maybe disabled or it could be on the second page (paginated) of the default message templates screen.

Login to your WordPress dashboard (WP-admin) and then go to Event Espresso –> Messages –> Settings.

Could you check that it is on the left side of the page (enabled)?

Next, go to Default Message Templates and then look for the Screen Options toggle in the top right area of screen and click on it.

Change the pagination value to a higher value like 20 and save changes.

Do you then see the Registration approved message type?

Sorry Lorenzo was being a moron, I had closed the page section for deactivated. sssh can’t get the customers these days!

You mean the ‘Payment received’ message type?

The Payment Received message type (Event Admin context) does not include the Event List details by default, infact the payment received email is not enabled for the Event Admin by default (the TO field is empty).

So its not an issue with your install but expected behavior.

I had closed the page section for deactivated.

So the Reg Approved message type had been deactivated and after re-activating it, it now works as expected or are you still having problems?

Yep working as expected. I’d got payment received and registration approved muddled up.
