Hello,

We have the Address System Questions turned on and required. However, when I go to check the registrations, the addresses are completely missing. is there another way to retrieve? And how can I fix this issue?

Thank you

Hi,

The address would normally show in the Contact box. May I ask if you go to the registration page does it include the Address fields there?

I checked the contact box and even tried downloading the csv but no addresses show up. The registration page does show the address fields and it even produces an error if I try to submit without them filled (like it should).

Can you try this?

1) Go to WordPress > Plugins and deactivate the Autoptimize plugin
2) Then go to the event page and start a registration (as a test)
3) After you submit the registration form, go to the admin side of the site and check the test’s registration record, is the address information present?

Yes, now the address is present.

OK thanks for checking. I can advise to leave the Autoptimize plugin deactivated as it seems to be contributing to or even causing the issue you reported here.

One alternative to the the Autoptimize plugin that works well is the Fast Velocity Minify plugin. There are others as well. If you decide to add another optimization plugin to your site, please be sure to test the registration form to make sure it continues to work as expected.

Ok, I’ll look into the other plugin. Would there be a way to retrieve the addresses that are missing? There are over 200 registrants that we don’t have the address for.

If they aren’t saved to the database (it would appear they are not as the CSV and Contact field pull those details pretty much directly from the database) then unfortunately not as that is the only place EE can/does save values.

Okay, thank you for your help!
