It seems that the personal information part of the registration process is locked but the software does allow me to add some additional questions. In my case I want registrants to tell me about any dietary restrictions they might have. The question seems to have been saved on “page two” of questions on the back end side but does not show up in the actual registration process, just the 8 mandatory locked questions. Can you assist please? |
Hi there, You can edit the questions that are included in a question group by naviagting to: Event Espresso -> Registration form -> Question groups. To add additional questions to the Personal Information question group click on that, you’ll then see a list of all your questions with checkboxes, click the checkbox for the questions you want to include in the group, save and retest. Do the additional questions then show? We have some documentation on this here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/add-questions-event-espresso-question-groups/ |

So you don’t have a ‘Save and close’ and ‘Save’ button in the editor? You can see them here – https://monosnap.com/file/6GJNdQ5ZPHVbkszs39NVLtzJOVg4jD If you are asking how you select them to be include within the event registration form, you do that within each individual event – http://take.ms/1CBvc Select the question groups you want to add to the event and update. Its set up that way as you may ask one a specific question group on one event, and another on another event. |

I have created my additional questions, and I have included them in a custom question group which has been saved. What I cannot do, because i don’t know how, is to get that custom group of questions into/along side/with the ‘standard’ group of personal questions into the event registration form. |
That’s in the event editor for each individual event – https://monosnap.com/file/PkQhfPSxKrUZhemMzpBRfV9FdsKxj7 You need to set the question groups on each individual event as each event can use different groups. |
