Hi there, I see this topic posted a couple times, but I am using EE4 and don’t see an answer that helps me out with this version.

I have a couple different ticket options but I want everyone to have the opportunity to buy additional things such as dinner or advertising, and I don’t want that to trigger the questions like it does when an additional ticket is purchased. i.e. One person comes as an attendee, purchase dinner, and a quarter page ad, and I want them to only input their information once. Then the total of all the additional options is at the end.

I see in several of the answers to these topics, the Price Modifier add on is suggested, I don’t know if that kind of thing will work for what I want, but it says it’s not compatible with EE4. (I’m using EE4.9.16.p)

Is there anything else I can do to get this to work for me?

Hi there,

Currently to add additional add-on purchases to a registration you need to create additional tickets and have the user select those tickets. You would need to disable all question groups for ‘Additional Registrants’ within the event to prevent the questions from being asked for those additional tickets.

This does mean that you basically limit the event to take one registration at a time (as if multiple users register at once on the primary registrants details will be collected) but is currently the only way to allow ‘add-on’ purchases within EE4.

As mentioned the Price Modifier is not compatible with EE4 at this time, although we do have the EE4 price modifier add-on feature request listed on our roadmap here:

That’s pretty disappointing, thank you for the information though.
