I have a situation where my default payments are in AUD, We also have events to be charged in USD and GBP.
When copying paypal button code into event espresso event, some of the code is being stripped out, therefore not displaying the button properly.
I know the code is working, as it’s active on another posts within the site.
Any idea on how to not have this code altered when saving an event.
The more important question which I’ll add, when will it be an option to utilise multiple currencies within the plugin?
Is there anyone able to customise EE to do this in the mean time?
Can you provide an example where we can view what you’re seeing. I know for security reasons Event Espresso does try to protect itself from some html characters.
Event Espresso is designed to display and process one currency at a time. So, yes, if you want to alter Event Espresso to accept multiple currencies at the same time it will have to be customized, but we do not have any official recommendations on how to do that since the process and desired results can vary wildly.
Now copy the link that is shown when you click on the email option.
Return to the event editor and upload the PayPal button and insert it. Then set the link to option to custom URL and then paste the URL that you copied from the PayPal button generator:
Then you can save changes to your event and your button should appear. You can then repeat this process for additional events.
