I’m trying to simplify group registrations as much as possible. Teachers sign up groups of students for our events and asking them to track down emails for students is too tedious but we do need those students names.
Since I cannot remove the email question for primary registrants, I’ve created a question for additional attendees “Provide the first and last name of this additional attendee” to work around that. However, on confirmation emails, receipts and order confirmations it shows the primary registrant, the teacher, for all the tickets. Is there a way to replace that with answers to my custom additional attendee question to show the actual list of attendees?
No, you can’t replace the registrant details with custom questions.
All ‘registrants’ require first name, last name and email address, the user case you are working on is something we’ve had requested before and its tricky.
One option use the personal information question group as normal, but hide the email field using CSS. Then use some JavaScript to copy the value of the primary registrants email address into that hidden field for all additional registrants.
