Adding Venue > Where do we edit the states in the drop down

We are adding a number of venues and in the right column you add the address, city, state, zip

Under state we are missing a state and not sure where to add/edit it?

I looked under settings and the states are there.

Is there another list/template for venues?

Hi Bob,

You’ll need to go to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Countries.

Select the country you are adding states for an add them there.

You will also need to make sure that the state is set to display within the dropdown – http://take.ms/8DpkAv

Yes I can see the settings for each state and they say yes:

But when I go edit a venue we only get the state of Iowa and Canada?

Any other places/ideas to check?

Within the section from the top screenshot, in the dropdown what is the exact text shown for the country?

EE has ‘United States’ and ‘Canada’ states by default.

Your list shows ‘USA’, which is fine if that’s correct, but I’m wondering if that’s not the ‘United States’ country that I’m guessing is shown in the top screenshot.

Within Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Countries

If you look within the dropdown do you have a ‘United States’ and a ‘USA’ country?

Ok I see what you are saying and found another list in countries call USA.

It only had Iowa so that’s why we were limited.

I’m going to add Illinois to the list and we should be fine.

This client only covers one state but recently added a 2nd.
