Perhaps in the middle of the page

Hi Eric,
Do you mean the registration confirmation or the Payment re-direct page?
/event-registration/ is used for multiple parts of the registration process, if you could add a screenshot of the page you you would like to add test to that would be great.

In order to edit/add text within that page you’ll need to modify one of Event Espresso’s template files.
Copy the file event-espresso/templates/confirmation_display.php to wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/ and modify the file there to keep it ‘update safe’.
