I am considering purchasing the mailchimp extension. Currently I manually import event attendees into mailchimp and use a tag corresponding to the the event the attendee is attending. Can this be automated using the mailchimp extension? I saw that attendees could be imported using groups but I prefer to use tags.

Hi Ricki,
Currently not, the MailChimp add-on does not currently support tags.
We can add a hook into the subscribe call that will allow you to do it via PHP if you are comfortable doing so?
Is the tag always the event title?
