Hi – I need to add automatically recurring events (e.g. “Event occurs weekly, every Wednesday”) to my website using EE. I can’t see how to do this. All I see are links to a Recurring Events Manager add-onn for EE3, or notes about a beta plug-in for EE4 (but I don’t know how to add this…?)

Please can you advise on the best way for me to add recurring events to my EE4 website? Thanks

Hi there,

Recurring events are not supported within EE4.X but they are within EE5

Event Espresso 5 is the next update available for Event Espresso and it is currently only a phased release cycle, I can add your account to the release so on the next update your site will be included if you would like?

Just to note Event Espresso 5 itself does NOT include recurring events, it’s a rewrite of EE4 which provides support for recurring events and then I can send you a copy of the recurring events add-on for EE5.

Hi Tony, and thanks for the quick reply.

If you can update my account so that I can download both EE5 and and the recurring events plug-in, that would be amazing – thanks!

Hi there,

The next phase release of EE5 is online and your should now have access to it on your account.

Create a backup of our site, update and make sure there are no errors.

If all is good I can send you a copy of the recurring events add-on.
