I successfully added the Payfast Gateway, but as soon as I upgraded it disappeared, what is the correct way to add this payment gateway?

Hi Faique,
I’m not aware of a PayFast payment method for Event Espresso 4. Was this developed by a third party? If so, is there a link to a documentation page for the payment option?

Hi, according to the documentation, it was written to be added to the core plugin. That will cause it to be lost each time you update since the plugin folder is removed and replaced when this occurs.
Please ask Payfast to update the payment method so it works as an add-on which can be installed as a WordPress plugin:
