September 11, 2015 at 11:12 am I’m trying to add registration questions such as phone number, allergies, age, etc… |
September 11, 2015 at 12:48 pm Hi there Mei Len, this sounds like it may be a conflict with another plugin on your site or possibly your theme. Could you run a quick test by temporarily switching your site into defaults: + Enable any default WP theme such as twenty fifteen Then try testing to see if it works. If it does, then restore a few plugins at a time and then re-test. Continue this process to restore your site and you should be able to find the source of the conflict. — |

I deactivated all plugins and changed the theme to twenty fifteen, reactivated event espresso and I am still getting sent to the “Oh No” page. Please advise on how to fix! |
If you go to Event Espresso -> Registration form -> Questions. Then browse through the list of questions there, can you see the newly added questions? If you edit a current question, it doesn’t matter which one, just temporarily add a letter or number to the end of the question name and update the question, what happens then? |

September 22, 2015 at 12:53 pm The newly added question is not visible… I added an “s” onto Last Name and saved and it worked (now reads “Last Names”). Any idea what could be the problem? |
Hi Mei Len, What happens if you create a new question through the question editor and then save? Specifically, do you see the original “oh no” issue or do you receive a confirmation that it has saved? Also, who is your hosting provider? — |

Not sure how to create a new question through the question editor – I can change question text from “Address” to “Allergies?” and it will save (other fields for that question are “system questions” and say they can not be changed). We use eleven2 as our provider. |
I farily sure you are providing the above as an example, but please do not ‘repurpose’ any of the system question (changing Address to Allergies) as it will cause all kinds of problems. Can you create new events and venues without any problems? Is this a migration from EE3 or a new install? |

September 24, 2015 at 11:00 am I can create new events and venues, just unable to create new registration questions which is vital to our business. It is a new install. |
September 24, 2015 at 11:52 am Hello, Could you please create a temporary WordPress admin login so we can take a closer look at this issue? Please share that temporary login through the secure link below: To prevent delays in troubleshooting, be sure to double check your information on the form before submitting. The submit button for the form appears at the end of the form. Again, please ensure that the temporary login works. Thank you. — |
