Hi,
Where can I insert the Google Maps link for a location? I cannot find a place to paste the link. Strange thing, I see that the location of the venue shows on the Receipt (I inserted the street address of the venue) but does not show on the Event Page.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Emil

Hi Emil, was the display Google maps option turned on when you added the information for the venue?

This can be done through the venue editor and it looks like this:

Hi Lorenzo,
Yes, the option was turned on, but I didn’t see any place to add the map’s link.
Thank you.

Hi Emil,

In EE4, if that option in the venue is turned on, then the map should auto display, based on the venue address (so please make sure the address is valid).

If the address is OK, and that option is turned on and the map still doesn’t appear, please provide a link to the an event with that venue.

Hi Dean,
Here is the event’s link: http://www.hooponoponoromania.ro/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_venues&action=edit&post=512&edit_nonce=5c3b228133
The map doesn’t have to be shown on the Location’s page, too? Because it doesn;t show up:http://www.hooponoponoromania.ro/Loca%C8%9Bii/rin-central-hotel/

Thanks,
Emil

Hi Emil,

It turns out Google Maps will not always be able to find the location if the address format doesn’t match with how they format the address. They’ll find it if you change the street address to: Strada Traian 55.

Here’s a screenshot of the venue editor with the suggested change:

Here’s the map it will generate:

Hope that helps!
