I created a new event and am trying to add a new ticket price. When i press the button, the page refreshes, but nothing happens. I can’t click on the cog next to it. Same goes for the new datetime button. Please help ๐Ÿ™

Hi,

How are you today? A couple questions:

– What version of EE are you using?
– What operating system and browser are you using (i.e. Windows Internet Explorer 9)?
– What theme are you using?
– What other plugins do you have activated?

In general, it’s wise to see if something like this is a theme/plugin conflict because we have not seen wide-spread reports of this (at least I haven’t yet).

Hi Garth,

-EE version 4.2.6.p.
-Mac OS X, tried doing this in both Safari and Chrome and have the same problem.
-Fox theme
-Nivo Slider, WP Google Maps, Contact Form 7

I was using Event Espresso in the past and did not notice any problems.

Thank you!

I just deleted Nivo slider and tried disabling all other plugins and still the same problem.

Just switched themes to a default wordpress theme and still the same problem. I think it has to do with installation of event espresso? i installed throuhg ftp client, but some things look off. for example, i have a message saying that some critical pages arent set up, but when i go to the critical pages menu, it says everything is okay and i can’t dismiss the message. also, the event espresso plugin doesn’t have a picture in the menu, so it’s just a blank space there and then says “event espresso”. also, none of the little “?” circles inside event espresso are clickable.

Also, the “Settings”, “Management” and “Extras” menus don’t open. Can someone help with this, please? I need to deploy ticket sales soon and I have no idea if this plugin will work or if I should spend time looking for another one to meet my deadline.

Hi. I can’t install through the plugin menu because i get the “The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.” error. I tried modifying the wp-config.php file, but it didn’t work.

Try uploading with an alternative SFTP or FTP client. FileZilla and Cyberduck are free options.

Be sure to look for connection timeouts or errors as this means that some files may not be uploaded.

Your host should be able to raise that restriction for you.
