Hi,

We are running EE4 and have a front end user registration with several custom fields (via ACF and Gravity Forms).

We would like to include additional fields to allow our users to specify additional recipients to be cc’d in sent messages (i.e. CC: MyAssistant@email.com), or at least be included in the main recipient field as “To: [primaryemail],[secondaryemail]” for example.

Could you provide some direction on how would we get the custom user data fields into either (a) a custom shortcode (which we would base on “Tony’s Shortcode”), or (b) tie the ACF field to a custom question in the EE Registration form so we can use [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_*].

Thanks!

Josh

Hi Dan,

You’ll need a developer to build new shortcodes for messages to make that happen. We can recommend contacting the developers on this list:
