WE are trying to see how many folks might be interested in a round of golf. Thought I could use EE4, free ticket event route? Need to collect first & last name (might need Maiden name too), email address and cell phone number.
I am not a web designer and know just enough about WP & EE4 to really screw it up! So a step by step note would really help me out.
I am open to any and all suggestions. THANK YOU!

Do you know the price this would be (if there is one)?
The reason I ask is you could use EE for this by creating an event and setting the ‘Default Registration Status’ for that event to ‘Not Approved’. Users can then select tickets, input their details, they’ll then see a ‘Not approved’ message and receive an email (as will the admin), then once you know if you have enough attendees for this you can switch them to pending payment and trigger anothr email to pay.
If you set this up with a ‘free’ ticket and then need to move them onto another ticket to pay it becomes more complicated for the admin or the attendee.
