Hi there,

I am trying to add a new date and time to an existing event (day) but it is ‘pushing’ the events after it down on the calendar and therefore not allowing bookings to be made on the correct days. I can’t see how to attach an image to show what it is doing sorry, any help is much appreciated!

I’m using V4.9.82.p EE and V5.1.4 WP.

Many thanks

Louise

Hi Louise,

If you have a screenshot you can share it here by going to snipboard.io. You’ll follow the instructions there, then you can paste the provided URL to the screenshot in a reply here.

So the screenshot shows I added the 17:30 session to the 17th January and it’s pushed the dates after it down on the calendar??

This is what it looks like on the back end and I haven’t even added any tickets yet…

Hi,

The pushing down as you describe it appears to be the result of some customisations. Normally the calendar will actually show each datetime, but I can see on your site there’s some custom code that’s hiding those.

That said, if you clear your browser’s cache does the calendar display as you’d expect? Here’s what I see when viewing the same month:

Hi Josh,

You’re seeing it corrected because I had to delete it so that people could book on correctly. Oh dear I am not a coder so do you know what the custom code is please and it’s purpose on my site?

Many thanks

It’s not clear to me exactly what the custom code is. Its purpose appears to be to show only one entry per day, which is a change from the calendar’s standard display which will show each and every datetime.

There is another way to accomplish only showing one event per date and if the developer of the site (or the individual that added the code) can get in touch with us we can advise further.

Okay thank you Josh I will have to get back in touch with my developer by the sounds of it. Thank you for the info.

Louise
