Using the [addVenue] shortcode and since we have mulitple venues, I’m curious how to specify which venue to display.

Hi there,
Event Espresso does not include an [addVenue] shortcode so that could be from another plugin.
Where are you adding the shortcode?
EE handles venues using the a dropdown within the Event Editor – http://take.ms/xlCEj
When you assign a venue there it is assigned to the event, so any objects related to the event will also pull that venues details.
