Hello,

On the page with the list of events instead of Register or Add to car buttons we see 2 x Add to cart buttons. Not sure how this happened…

I found out that it’s because I was using a function to change a label for the even popup. Now these 2 buttons show up fine but still trying to figure out how to change labels in the popup… Want it to say “Add to Cart” instead of “Register” on the popups.

Hi Kat, that is likely a gettext filter that is being used there.

Is the register link that is appearing via the add to cart shortcode in the event description area?

If so, could you give this shortcode a try?

[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK anchor="Add to Cart"]

Note the anchor parameter above.

It is a shortcode. I adjusted the shortcode but still says “Register”

Hi Kat,

I’m not sure if it will suit your needs but the Pre Release version of the Calendar includes MER support within the tooltips. It looks something like this:

Note the Pre Release versions include new feature that may not have been fully tested with as many variations as we normally do, but if you’d like to try it you can sign up to Pre-Release Channel using this:

I just changed it in cart.php. Seems to be an easier way. Hope it doesn’t break anything.

It should not break anything, but will apply site wide and be removed when you update Event Espresso.

Hi, that sounds like a core plugin file so your customizations would be lost on a software update.
