With the MailChimp add on activated, an email is automatically sent to those who register for an event. Currently, it is set to automatically welcome a registrant to the subscriber list, which they have the option to accept or not.
Anyway, we can schedule mails via MailChimp from those in an event list to be sent a confirmation email of their registration, along with an option to add the event to their Outlook/Gmail calendar.
