using recurring event to handle a Part 1 / Part 2 class scenario where each class is on a separate day. I can currently select an alternate date but I would also like to change the time on the second day.
Any help would be appreciated

I’m not sure if I’m following correctly.
The recurring events manager (REM) basically copies your event and creates duplicates of that event based on the Date formula you have provided.
It sounds like you would like to update certain events within a series to also include additional times, excluding the part 1 events that your have within the series, is that correct?

thanks for the reply…
here is the scenario.. I have a single class that will be offered on several different occasions over a 2 month period… the classes DO NOT follow any pattern (i.e every saturday at 12)… instead they will be offered on different days at different times, but only once per day and the time will possibly change each day
recurring events module allows you to set the alternate dates manually instead of using a date formula… but I cannot change the time for the alternate dates…
Class XZ, Date 1, Time 1
Class XZ, Date 2, Time 2
…
so, the same class is given on different days, (no pattern) AND at a single different time on each date
I hope that is a bit clearer… thanks again for the help

Hi Patrick,
Currently Recurring Events doesn’t allow for differing times, just dates.
You can of course edit the event after creation and modify the time accordingly.
