Hello, I have created an event, and I want to start adding tickets now. However, in the event’s “Event tickets and datetimes” section, I can´t see any “Add ticket” button. How can I add tickets? Thank you in advance and regards, María. |

Hi Maria, In the EE4 event you should see two parts under the Event Tickets & Datetime box: Event Datetimes and Available Tickets. Under the available tickets part is a Create Ticket button. If you can only see the title but no content or button after it, please click the title to make sure it is not minimised. Screenshot http://take.ms/XnCTt |

Hello again, No, I have made sure the section was not minimised, I click on title, and on the arrow on the right hand side, and I cannot see neither the “Event Datimes” nor the “Available Tickets” option. |

Here is the screenshot |
Hi Maria, Could you try deactivating all plugins and reactivating only Event Espresso and re-testing? Then if it appears, then begin restoring your site by reactivating a couple plugins at a time and re-testing. That should help you pinpoint the source of the conflict. Thanks — |

Hello, Err, that is a little complicated as I am working on a customer’s live site, no dev environment. I have Events espresso on Maintenance Mode. The customer’s wordpress version is 4.0.1, is there any change that there is a need to update it? Thanks |
|
The active status of the event is inactive, could that be the issue? However it would not let me change the status anyway |
|
Also, I have noticed that in that one page (add event), none of the sections would collapse or expand. |
Hi, that sounds like a conflict on the site. I would try to schedule some time during off hours to check. If there are not many plugins on the site, then you should be able to run through them within a few minutes. — |

Hello again, Thanks for your prompt responses. Looking forward into the collapsing/expanding issues, I have gone through the html source and realized that in this page (not on the others) the class in the divs are set to class=”postbox ” rather than class=”postbox”. The extra space on the class name is generating the issue. From what files would I be able to try to fix this issue? Is this a known bug on espresso? Note that it only happens in this page, I find that a little strange. María. |
Hi Maria, This isn’t a known issue and from prior experience in helping members this sounds like a conflict from another plugin or possibly the theme. I checked a few of our testing sites and the ticket / pricing option editor loads as expected: http://cl.ly/image/1n0T3H1P1g23 — |

First I would try to uninstall and re-install the plugin, before doing that, how would i go about saving the data I have already loaded (Questions, venues, etc.?) |
Hi, I don’t think that is the cause unless you manually installed Event Espresso via SFTP or FTP and some files did not transfer (i.e. the transfer timed out). Removing and re-installing the plugin will not remove any existing event information. — |

Anyway, what is the file I would need to edit in order to change the way the “Add event” page load, so the event Tickets & Datetimes appear open by default? |
Hi, I’m not sure I’ve explained this issue correctly. Based on what I’ve seen in the past, this is likely a conflict with another plugin on the site or an issue with the theme. To clarify, this does not occur when Event Espresso 4 is in use with a default WordPress theme. I recommend testing with only Event Espresso running to see if the issue continues. If it doesn’t, then its being caused by another plugin. You can restore the site a few plugins at a time to find the source of the plugin. — |

Understood, I will try the plugin someplace else. Thank you!! |
