Is it possible to have add-on options for an even? For example I have an event that people can attend, and there will also be golf there, but it costs extra. So I want to give a user the ability to select a few of the extra cost things in addition to the main event price. Is this possible? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Hi,

Which version of Event Espresso are you using?

EE3

If you are not using the Multi Event Registration (MER) Add-on EE3 allows you to use the Price Modifier Add-on which is available on our Pre-Release Channel.

This allows you to set questions that have values within the event, when the attendee answers the questions EE will modify the price based on the answer.

If you are using MER the other option is to setup multiple tickets within the event, adding your Add-ons to the tickets, so for example a General Admission ticket, General Admission + Golf, General Admission + Golf + Lunch etc

The attendee then adds the event to the cart and selects the ticket(s) they require.

OK, the MER looks like it will work, but is there a way to show all of the event dropdowns on the event detail page, instead of just the view cart option? It seems confusing to give the choice to “register” (and skip the dropdown options) or “view cart”.

Hi, the shopping cart feature that displays the pricing options in a table is part of the multiple events registration add-on.

The link shows Register by default but you may see View cart if you have already started the registration process by clicking on that link.

Is this the tutorial that you were looking at regarding that functionality?

Thank you Lorenzo, that was exactly the functionality I was needing. I appreciate your help
