We need to add new registrations to events that already passed. We need to do this to record walk-in people. We are not able to register them at the event, but only on the next day.
When an administrator tries to add a new registrations via the backend the system doesn’t allow to do so because an event has passed. We tried to extend the sale end date & time, but when we click on Add New registration we get this error:
Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to EventEspresso\modules\ticket_selector\ProcessTicketSelector::addTicketsToCart() must be of the type array, boolean given, called in /home/secondsixties/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/modules/ticket_selector/ProcessTicketSelector.php on line 213 and defined in /home/secondsixties/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/modules/ticket_selector/ProcessTicketSelector.php on line 403
But will adding a temporary datetime make an event public and available for registrations? We use the calendar and do not want past events appear on the calendar again with availability for registrations.
It will temporarily display on the calendar. You could give the datetime a date a year into the future, and use the Admin Only Tickets plugin to restrict registrations to the admin only. More details about the add-on here:
