Follow up on this thread: https://eventespresso.com/topic/company-cards-and-authorize-net/

When I send a $_POST to Authorize and request a payment form manually, I can use the following to add custom HTML ( custom message ) to the top of the form:

<INPUT type=hidden name=”x_header_html_receipt” value=”Custom message!”/>

I would like to add a custom message to the payment form that gets pulled up by Event Espresso when people are registering for events that says “If you are using a company card, you may omit First and Last Name if you enter the correct company name.”

Does EE offer the ability for me to do that? By modifying the $_POST?

Or if not – how can I get such a message at the end of the checkout process before launching to authorize.net?

Hi Jeff,

You can go to Event Espresso > Payment Methods > Authorize.net AIM settings and add your message to the Description field there. While you’re on that settings page, you can also set the First Name/Last Name fields to **not** be required, and make sure the Company Field isn’t excluded.
