I see a way to limit ticket usage to a single datetime, but is there any possible way to limit a datetime to only allow one ticket per attendee during that time?

We are trying to sell conference tickets with per class registration. We want to be able to do something like this: https://register.eventgrid.com/Order/sip0P/Schedule1

Your software looks like the most viable solution because we are using it with our membership software and your user role plugin to determine pricing for our members. However, we really need to be able to limit tickets to only one ticket per date time.

If this won’t work, we can set up multiple events and only allow one ticket for each event per order, but we need to make sure that the first required ticket gets added to the cart. If it is removed, we need a solution to remove the other tickets as well.

We are willing to pay for a custom solution, if you can help us.

Hello,

From what you have shared, you can create a datetime for a specific ticket and then use the maximum option on the ticket-level to restrict the selection to just one at a time:

https://cl.ly/27402S1Q073Q

The maximum option can be found through the advanced options (gear icon) in the ticket editor.

Also, I was not able to view the link. Could you share an updated link if it is still available?

That’s exactly opposite of what I need. I want to make people choose which class they attend for each datetime. How do I do that?

The link that I was trying to share expires within a half hour. https://hoolicon.eventgrid.com If you click this link and then start the registration process https://hoolicon.eventgrid.com/Page/19034/registrations and begin the registration process, you’ll see how users are required to choose their classes after they select their main ticket. I would be willing to pay for development for this feature.

Again, I need to be able to have the ability to make ticket holders register for their classes after selecting main required ticket.

Hello,

A maximum / minimum option isn’t available on the datetime. It is available for the ticket option as a datetime can have one or more tickets enabled for it.

I get that, but I think you are missing a huge piece of the puzzle that a lot of people have requested over the past two years (according to the threads in your support forum).

We need to be able to require ticket holders to select a class for each time slot. They can’t attend two classes at once, so how do we do that? Can we pay you to add that solution for us. It seems like an easy add on that requires a purchaser to select a ticket for each datetime.

Hi there,

If you’re interested in sponsoring development of an add-on that can be used to add specific restriction rules to the selection of tickets and date times, you can contact someone from sales via this form:
