Is there a way to include some emails (Sales Reps) through the process of the emailing the Attendees for an Event Reminder?

I don’t see a way, but I thought I would ask.

Thanks πŸ™‚

Hi Daniel,

Which version of EE are you using and how are you sending the reminder currently?

I have the following add-ons installed:
Members Add-on
Multi Registration
Permissions
Ticketing
API Plugin

Recurring Events – deactivated
Social Coupons – deactivated
Social Media – deactivated

Hi Daniel,

Do the reps need to receive a copy of this email? If so, you can manually add them through the Attendee Record screen so they are part of the event’s attendee list.

Then you’ll be able to send out a batch email to all members on the list

Lorenzo,
Thank you for your input.
It was requested by my client to see if it was possible. They would like to have automated reminders go out, but know Event Espresso is working on that feature.

They would like to keep the Reps informed and when they do send a reminder (Email Attendees) they thought it a good idea to maybe add the Reps, so they don’t have to create a separate email in a separate system.

I logged in and saw where I can do this. A question comes to mind when I see this. Adding an Attendee would take a ticket. So if I wanted 30 attendees and 2 Reps I would have to create the event with 32 tickets and add the Reps after the event is created. Thus making 30 tickets available. Correct?

Hi Daniel,

A forwarding / group address to represent the sales reps would also work but you would need at least one extra spot to hold the extra registration.

Lorenzo,
Thank you for your input. I thought of doing it that way, but didn’t want to offset the attendees numbers. The client has stated they will do it the way they always have, since there are over 30 Reps. Thank you again.
