Hi,
we had installed the free version as a trial, liked it, so we purchased & downloaded the current version EE4 4.3.0.P. We only had a couple of test events, which the installation appeared to upgrade successfully, no errors.
However, now we can’t create new tickets or Datetimes, or duplicate them, or even go into advanced options. The only response from any of these buttons is when you click the Create Ticket button, the page refreshes, and that’s it.
Sort of appears to be a permissions issue, not sure? Any ideas?

Hi Josh,
I had tried to deactivate the plugins we didn’t need, but I’ve deactivated them all and tested each one individually and found that the following plugins killed it:
Calls to Action : Display Targeted Calls to Action on your WordPress site. Version 2.1.3 | By InboundNow
All in One SEO Pack : Out-of-the-box SEO for your WordPress blog. Version 2.2.2 | By Michael Torbert
The SEO pack is no big deal, but the Calls to Action plugin is quite useful and would prefer to have that working. Any ideas on why they aren’t working together?
The Call to Action plugin is causing JavaScript errors, which then cause EE to stop working. Not much we can do about that, though you could contact the plugin developer and advise of the issue.
“is there also a way to charge a credit card fee only when they select the paypal payment option?”
Not currently no, I’ll add your +1 for this feature request.
Thanks Josh,
I’ve asked the developer to check it out.
A couple more questions:
1. Is there a way to show prices as inclusive of tax? For Australia, we need to include GST to our prices. Whats the best way to do this?
2. How can we change a label in the template for the invoice payment option (ie. need to change the VAT/Tax label to ABN for Australia.
3. Just tested both an invoice payment option & PayPal option, but the order confirmation has not included the tax, so the total is the ex tax price? However, if you view the details in the registration page, it shows the total with the tax added.
4. The order confirmation email the participant received provided a link to edit their information. When clicking that, they just get a blank form.

When you set the ticket as taxable the ticket will include the tax set by default. If you edit the ticket you can set the ticket to taxable – http://take.ms/1tnbl
Then on the ticket selector the price will include the Tax amount – http://take.ms/R5CiT ($10 ticket)

I can’t reproduce this. How are you adding the tax currently?

This is linked with #3 and is not expected. Have you modified any of the invoice templates previously?
