How can I add a notes section for each entrant? Basically a comments section that admins can make on each entrant? People sometimes have specific requests. Will it then also be possible to export these comments onto an excel doc?
You can do this with an ‘admin only’ question either within its own group, or included in one of the groups you request from your registrants (the ‘Personal Information’ question group for example).
Go to Event Espresso -> Registration Form -> Questions.
Create a new question and it can be called anything you want, I’ll go with the very original ‘Admin Notes’.
Click the checkbox for ‘Admin-Only Question?’ and save.
Now if adding that to Personal Information, go to the ‘Question Groups’ tab and edit Personal Info.
Click the checkbox next to your ‘Admin Notes’ question and save.
(Note – you can use whatever question group you want but that question group must be selected on the registrants for it to show, Personal Information is selected for each individual registrant which is why I’ve used it in this example)
I realised I didn’t add details on how you would edit this field (for both yourself and any future readers).
As the question is assigned to the registration when you edit the registration in Event Espresso -> Registrations -> {registration} and look at the bottom of the page you’ll see a ‘Registration Form Answers’ section.
Your admin only question should show there.
Click the ‘Edit the above question group’ link to enable editing and add your notes.
