I created an event for September of 2016. As of today, the event shows inactive and the link does not work, but when I am logged in, the link works, but the event still shows inactive.

Hi Reco,

It will help if you can let us know the version of Event Espresso you currently have installed, and also any other information about the event like its tickets sale start and sale end dates.

Hi Josh,

I’m running 4.9.2.p. The event is scheduled to start September 16 and run to September 18, 2016. We have had 17 sales (maxed at 30). It was working previously. Today its inactive…

I’m afraid there isn’t much information given here that allows us to help. May I ask where I can find this event?

http://www.novaeuniversity.com

If you go to Training Programs, then Champion Speakers Boot Camp, it gives a 404 error. The event is not closed, but it shows inactive. It is not “inactive”, and I don’t know why it shows as inactive.

The direct link is https://www.novaeuniversity.com/?post_type=espresso_events&p=7350

When I am logged in, it shows. When I am not logged in, it doesn’t show (404 error)

Has the event been ‘Privately published’?

If you edit the event and look where you edit the event, you should see this – http://take.ms/51YN1

If it shows as private non logged in users can not view the event so you’ll need to change it and update the event for it to be visible.

Here is what it shows – http://take.ms/4BS1L

The reason the event shows a 404 error when you’re not logged in is because the event post is set to be published on a scheduled date. You can make the event appear as expected by setting its published date to be today or earlier.

Perfect! Never even thought about that! Thank you! It’s working!
