How to accept credit card payments and also permit invoice generation

Hi
Could you please point me to documentation or other where online credit card (typically VISA and Mastercard here in South Africa) can be set up.
We are currently allowing invoice generation which has worked well in the past few years but delegates are now asking for the option to pay via credit card.

Hi there,
Do you know which provider are you looking to use to process payments?
For example Square, Stripe, PayPal etc.
Event Espresso ‘payment methods’ connect to your merchant account through your provider, so how you set the above above depends on who you are wanting to use.
Stripe can process payments in South Africa: https://stripe.com/
