Hello,

Thanks for following up on that. We have an enhancement that is currently pending release.

I’ve tested it from updating from an older release (prior to the current one) as well as updating from the current release and it works as expected.

It introduces the following options:

Add attendee/registrant upon submit (step 1 of registration checkout)
Add attendees/registrants regardless of registration status (e.g. pending payment)
Add approved attendees/registrants

The last option above will be the new default.

I’d like to get another team member to test on a different WordPress site. We’ll update this support post shortly.

Hi there,

The latest update to the MailChimp add-on (available now) includes a new option where you can set the API settings to submit to MailChimp only when registration is completed.

Hi!

I have just updated and started to test the second and third options – can I expect to have some delay between the EE data submission and seeing the registry on the Mailchimp list?

Are you using double opt in?

It can sometimes take a while for the lists to update.

Hi!

I’m skipping the double opt in.

The second option (submit when completed) updated Mailchimp after a while.
The third didn’t – I have tried to Approve the registration with and without a payment… but it didn’t submit the user information until now.
I’m going to leave it with the second option enabled and make further tests – I’ll leave feedback as soon as possible.
