We have a number of small events throughout the year (8-10 registrants) and sell out most of them. We’ve recently migrated these events over to EE.
What we’ve noticed is that abandoned registrations are still reserving a ticket (this happens unless a user meaningfully clicks on cancel registration – which is often not the case). We have our default status set to “Pending Payment”, but what we don’t want to do is have to manually release those abandoned registrations to free up tickets.
In the ticket configuration, we’ve ensured the quantities are input and matching for both the event dates and ticket count. The “ticket is required” checkbox is also ticked.
The ticket should be reserved for the duration of the users session which by default is 1 hour.
Are your tickets remaining reserved for longer than that?
