Hi Derek,

The registrant needs to select an offline payment method like Invoice, then click on the Finalize Registration button in order for the Pending Payment message to be sent.

If they simply abandon the registration process before completing those steps, the Pending Payment message is not automatically sent.

There is, someone would need to build a plugin to add this. One thing that plugin will need is a way to keep track of what got sent to the abandoned registration, or perform its queries to target a specific time range of abandoned registrations. The reason being is abandoned registrations don’t progress to another status, so there will need to be a way to make sure only new abandoned registrations get an email. In other words, there will need to be a mechanism to send only one email for an abandoned registration and not send out repeated emails for every abandoned registration in the database.
