Hi, I replied with this workaround via email and I’ll also share it here for other members that may run into this error.
Try temporarily disable the auto return URL on your PayPal.com account.
1. Log in and click the Profile subtab under My Account.
2. Click the Website Payment Preferences link under Selling Preferences.
3. Click the Off radio button to disable Auto Return. Then remove the URL that is set and scroll down and disable the PayPal PDT.
Then save changes.
