September 20, 2016 at 11:46 am Hi devs Question 1: I would like to reserve a slot for those account with pending payment ( i set by default is pending payment) once they register for that event and only release the slot when they have not paid us by a certain period (Manually or automated both is fine) after 3-4 Days.. the reason I would like to do this is to prevent the tickets from being sold out before that can make his/ her payment. Question 2 : How can I allow the same user to register with the same email address for another event ( as I will not be providing any Login services) Question 3 : How can I add Custom fields in the Personal Information area once i click register? must I upgrade to have that function enabled? if so are there any workarounds? ( they must be viewable in the Admin panel as we use them for our records) Question 4 : How can I remove the PDF invoice completely from the page after I have filled my info and it says Payment pending. Thank you for your time. |
Hello, 1) By default, a registration status of registration pending payment is used. This means that if an event is free as in no cost, then a guest will receive a status of registration approved after they share their registration details. If an event is paid as in there is a cost, then a registrant/attendee will receive a status of registration approved after they have shared their registration details AND paid for their registration. Registrations with a status of registration approved affect any limits that are set. A status of registration pending payment does not. 2) Event Espresso does not restrict the events that can be registered for. If an event is open and has at least one pricing option (e.g. ticket), then a guest can register for that event. If you are wanting to offer the option to register for different events at once, then the multiple event registration add-on can help with that: https://eventespresso.com/product/eea-multi-event-registration/ 3) Customizing the registration forms to include new questions is available in the regular version of Event Espresso 4. This is available with a support license purchase on EventEspresso.com 4) The PDF invoice can be turned off through the messages system. Go to your WP dashboard and then go to Event Espresso –> Messages and click on Settings. Look for the HTML option and click on it. Then drag and drop the Invoice to the inactive area. You can repeat this process for any other message types that you want to deactivate. You may find this intro to the messages system helpful: http://enzo12.com/training/send-message-attendees-specific-event-event-espresso/ Thanks! — |
